After being chased by the guards (again) Christine and her goat quickly closed the door to the chapel. As long as she stayed in the chapel, she was safe. She climbed to the top of the Chapel, on the top stair, watching the guards guard the chapel doors down below.

Christine gasped when he touched her, thinking i was a soldier. "Sanctuary! No soldiers! Get away!" she said almost hitting him, but when she turned arond and saw Eragon she blushed. "Eragon! It's you...I thought you were a soldier." she hugged him gently. "I'm so happy to see you"

Eragon grinned and returned the hug. "Why are you freaking out?" Eragon looked at her, concerned. "Is it the soldiers again?' Eragon asked quickly.

Christine nodded. "It's ridiculous. Tere's one at each door of this chapel" she said "Hey..how did you get in here?"

Eragon grinned and pointed at the ceiling, where there's wooden rods running across it and a open window was nearby. "Over there, climbed in, swung across, landed on the cupboard and the chest and jumped down." He grinned. He drew his sword. "You hold on for a moment. Keep safe." He advanced towards one of the doors and psuhed it open. Then he disappeared behind it and closed it. There were sounds of scruffling, yelling, cursing, slashing sounds, metal banging on metal and silence.

Christine watched him go then looked over at the priests praying. They seemed so incredibly peaceful.

Eragon hurried back in, his arm soaked in blood. "Ooer! There was fifteen out there! Good thing I trashed them all. They caught me by suprise. " Eragon said, beckoning to his blood soaked left arm. Then he looked at the priests. "hmm... maybe I was a lil' too noisy. " He whispered. Then he sheathed his sword. "One passage cleared. What do you rekon?"

Eragon smiled at her. "No problem. But I think i need my energy... nevermind. " He unrolled his sleeve and there was a long gash there, not deep but long. "Its easy enough. Waise Hiell!" he said and his palm shimmered. His wound shimmered too and skin flowed over it, and the gash disappeared completely, leaving only smooth, flawless skin. "Done." He said, feeling tired suddenly. The magic has sapped some of his strength. "And now?"

Christie smiled as the wound disapearred. "Impressive" she smiled. "Well..you look tired...are you feeling alright?"she placed a hand to his forehead feeling his temperature. "You're not sick..so was that just you magic draining energy?"

"I don't know. I think it'll be better if I-" Then the preists leapt up and looked around frantically. Eragon was suprised. The preists usually don't break out of their prayers! Soldiers began filling the room. "RUN! Now!" Eragon cried. A man shouted. "Get that gypsy! Get her! She's a thief!" Eragon drew his sword and started slashing down at the soldiers. "She's innocent! Get away now!"

Christine looked back one more time before running to jumpp from the window. It wasn't a long fall, but hurt a little. She got up and started running until a soldier on a horse came in front of her and she screamed. The soldier picked her up and put her on his horse as she screamed. He rode off with as she struggled. "LET ME GO!!! LET ME GO NOW!! ERAGON!!" she yelled as she was carried off into the distance.
