Tori smiled, and curtsied before Vidar, asking, "What food shall I prepare, Lord Vidar? Do not hesitate to ask anything of me." She turned and walked to the door, before turning back once more, awaiting an answer from Vidar. She stayed at the door, waiting for Vidar, or Insidia, to answer her.

Lura stepped inside being one of the priests of the church she had been summoned but being in the armory trying to create away to get into the city of ashire. "My lord"she said and curtsied "I am sorry I am late,as I was in the Armory planning my attack."She said standing up straight and smoothing out her silvery-white robes "is there any thing I can do"she added.

"You should never bow or kneel to me, lady." Vidar said simply. "When the time comes to give thanks and praise, the one true lord shall be the one to receive them, for it is through me that he acts; his will it was that saved you from that man and brought you here." He continued; an air of actual kindness in his voice, the tone of one who spoke to anyone as dedicated to the lord as she must be.
"As for you," he said, turning to Tori, "You have done splendid thus far; nothing less than what I would expect." Gesturing to the near-forgotten doctor before he continued; "Find out what would be best in this situation and fetch it. Make haste now, I am still counting on you."
His business was near concluded, or so he thought; yet he was interrupted yet again by another figure arriving on the scene. "You." he said simply, referring to Laura, "I have ordered no current attack, yet do indulge me; where were you planning to attack?"

Tori looked at Laura spitefully as she spoke of something that seemed to cause Vidar an ill reaction. She didn't need to bother him. After all, he had enough to do speaking God's word to all. Oh, well, she would not attack a fellow holy-woman. She merely curtsied once more to Vidar, and replied, "It shall be done, Lord Vidar."
Turning to the doctor, she asked, "What do you suggest she eat?" The doctor mumbled something inaudibly, before Tori became exasperated with him. "Will cookies do? And juice?" "Y-yes," the doctor replied, still barely audible. With that Tori left the room, and returned with a glass of juice, and set it upon a table nearby the woman. "Here you are," She said calmly, "I shall be back later." With that, she left, with every intent to bake cookies.

"Father, King, it is your will that chooses to act as the Lord, kindest Sir. The Lord allows you to do as he wishes, it is you who must accept him. You have, Father, you are more than just a man of God. If it would not be an idol, it would be you I would worship, I have never seen a man so devoted and close to the Lord, you deserve praise as He."
Insidia continued to stare at King Vidar, her voice in the same praising tone. It sounded as if she were nearly begging him to take her compliments, to believe her. Her hand had not moved, extended out to him, a shame he would not touch her. Insidia ignored the entering woman, she had seen her before, intruding at David's home. With luck she would keep that moment in silence before the king.
"King...may it be far too much, though...may I touch your hand?" She asked him, a faint smile appearing once again on the edges of her lips.
{sorry for short posts, there is not much to be said, as she is weak and will make little movements and have few thoughts.

"There is no plan of attack just to bring the scum that escaped the holy lords punishment to justice"she said looking at Tori "if I am not mistaken that was your first order to me"she said now looking at Vidar.

"Ah, you have much to learn," he said, in a calm yet reprimanding tone, "Praise only the lord, not his followers, and worship none before him; nor praise any on equal level, as he comes before all. Of course, if you worship the lord through me, that is also acceptable, for the lord is kind and understanding." he said with a smile, as though this weren't the same lord that had caused the murder of innocent civilians.
Reaching out his hand to her, he spoke once more, "Very well, I can grant this favor," he said, extending to her, "Grasp it in your hands and give thanks and praise to god for your narrow escape from death. Yet then I truly must insist you take heed of the doctor's orders and get some rest."
"As for you," he said once again to Laura, "I do in fact have a job for you. Seek out the gatekeeper Rotiart and bring him to justice, for I believe he is the one at least partially to blame for the recent influx of heretics."

Tori returned to the room, with a plate covered in cookies. She had made them hastily, but she always fancied herself good at cooking, so they shouldn't be that bad. She placed the tray on the same table as the juice, and then curtsied once more, asking Vidar, "Lord Vidar, what shall I do next? What does the lord command me next? For I know you hear him better than I."

This priest was a sinister man, this Insidia believed she knew, though his kindness toward her was a complete difference. It would be difficult to understand his true nature, perhaps he was completely mad. The strangest of things was his refusal to allow any compliment, put it all on his god, very strange. She were drawn to his eyes as he spoke, staring, the smile never leaving her lips. Some comfort was found in his eyes, though it was more than unsure how.
Still smiling, her face even brighter now, both her thin hands reached up and touched his, lightly her fingers wrapping around. Her heart seemed to flutter, her face felt warm, a light red showing below her eyes. For a lucid moment, she felt happy around this person. However, Insidia's eyes widened as he spoke of the gatekeeper, that man had been aid to her and David, whom took her into his home. It would be wretched for him to die. Still, he had seen her with torn clothing, with David. When questioned, Rotiart may just mention Inisidia, tell them of how she appeared. He must die.
"Father..." she whispered, "Perhaps I have sinned. I am not sure it is a sin...I wish to confess to you."
She said this with her eyes staring back at his, her fingers still light, though taking better grip on Vidar's hand. Her shoulders lifted from where she lay, bringing her blushing face closer to his, her lips closer to his ear. He could feel her uncertain breathing, the cringe of her hand.
"Father, I tell you this as you are a priest. I'm confessing that I..."Insidia paused, hesitation in her words. "That, my heart sees you more than a king, than a man of God, my heart desires your lips against mine. Shun me as you may father, but I know that it would be more than a sin if I continued to look at you with these thoughts..."

"The lord is pleased, Tori," Vidar said, nodding gratefully. "You also will have a new duty in addition to your normal chores," he continued without pause, "I wish you to take your spare time, once this girl has healed properly, to show her around the castle, teach her all there is to know, for she will be here for an extended period of time."
When Insidia spoke next, Vidar glanced at her for the briefest of moments, his eyes narrowing slightly to tell that he had in fact heard her, yet he turned almost immediately to Laura, "Why are you still here?" he demanded from her, "I thought I gave you an order. See to it that it is followed."

So, it seemed the king offered for her to stay, or so he mentioned to the female he called, "Tori". She would have a name to be at least thought about with, now. Tori seemed to have a sort of goodness to her, although there was something which seemed more so crooked. Insidia still held the king's hand firmly, touching his palm and fingers through the glove he wore. He acted with uncertainty, turning away from her, speaking to the other female who loomed.
"Father...?" Insidia whispered, still she looked upward at his face.
She became uncertain whether it was appropriate to still hold his hand, even if she did as someone confessing to a priest. The way he turned his face was unsettling, something that made Insidia worry. Had it been wrong she had said such a thing? She was never assured it was right. His eyes had given her a look that only could have been malicious, in her mind. Her fingers loosened, though still holding his hand limply, because he did not let go. He allowed her to continue that petty embrace, he did not tear his hand away when she spoke.
Insidia had not taken her eyes from King Vidar, though what she wished was to remove one hand and turn his face to see her. However, she were not that foolish. Slowly, easing her hips, she brought herself to sit straight, her back against the couch's arm. Her head loosely tilted a bit back, still weak from such fatigue. Insidia leaned foreword, letting her lips near his ear again. She wanted none to hear the words she would say.
"I can only appoligse...I ask for forgiveness of the Lord, God, and you." She said, her voice whispering as before, fearful of the females listening.
Few thoughts she had, the only ones seeking the attention of the man who's hand she had been grasping. Those dead nightmares and visions, forgotten within this place, with this hand in her's. Insidia's blackened eyes squinted for a young and quick moment, a slicing pain at her heart. There was the strain beneath her collarbones, as well. It was there, she created it's ugliness in trade for life.

Tori curtsied once more toward Vidar. "Very well. I shall make sure to stop by when my time is free. And, as for the trash of Avaren, I shall be removing it. I trust that does not upset you, Lord Vidar?" She awaited his answer that she might be allowed to find and dispose of heathens among the city. She didn't like the idea of any of those Satanists living in Avaren. "Oh, and I shall also be making supper. If anyone has any suggestions, please do not hesitate."

"You have yourself," Vidar said simply, "What else would you expect? You're hunting down one old man; I would imagine you can handle that alone, unless you for some reason can't do without a slew of guards to assist you in taking down this single man."
"Do not worry, the lord will always forgive," he said, finally turning to Insidia and responding to what she said. Drawing his hand from hers he placed it upon her shoulder, exerting a gentle yet firm pressure, pushing her from her sitting position to try and make her lie down once more, "But you were ordered to rest by both the doctor and myself, so do not spurn the forgiveness of the lord so soon."
"Actually, Tori," he said, almost as an afterthought, "There was one other individual. One named David Augustine, whom has gained my attention. If tales be told, he came up with petty excuses in order to resist his house being searched. This is a cause of much suspicion, for anyone who would do that must surely be harboring witches and heretics within their very walls. I would wish to know who he has been corresponding with to bring them all to justice. As for the man at this current moment, find him and bring him in to answer for his crimes."
