David walked with her and shared nearly every movement that Insidia took. When she stumbled, he was forced to and when she fumbled, he did as well. He was in no more better physical condition than she was. He watched as she had torn her dress and then tore the remains off to have the ends up to her knees. This caused her legs to show and be visible though he didn't really question why the woman had did such a thing. He would never understand the opposite sex within his lifetime or afterwards. However, they began to walk again and a bit easier this time around since she had gotten rid of the excess length.
David looked down at Insidia as she spoke. She was complaining about how it was difficult and how her legs felt weak. He looked then again infront of himself. Conemplating in his mind whether the feat he was fixing to suggest would be necessary or not. Though he truly didn't know. He helping her stand and using his own strength. Whether she was welcoming this help was a totally different thing. "We'll be there shortly." he spoke to her hoping that his words would bring some comfort. Though the longer they walked it seemed that they had to go even further. His fatigue playing games with his vision and mind as well as wearing out the remains of any staminia that he had.

Though the night, through the rain, the end was getting near. Bound by determination and inner strength, her dying muscles pursued the destination she wished for, her legs now with more freedom to take longer strides with less weight. Like on journey though hell, it continued to feel as if her legs were in flames, her breaths constrict further by her corset, asphyxiation. Her dire need to be sane struggled to keep up, fighting her fatigue and its tricks.
A new day would be soon, yet she feared if they did not reach the city in time, they would be of the dead before the dawning. Sacrificing her dignity as a woman, she loosed the frontal stings to her constricting waist cincher, inhaling the most precious breath she had ever had the pleasure to breathe. She held the air, taking a step through the illusion of flames, upward a small hill, allowing its release soon after. A new, carnal strength was displayed from Insidia, and if one could see through her blackened eyes, they would see the flame of strength. She grasped David, allowing his arms to rest, again it was she who took care of him.
"The rain comes fast and cold, the weakness comes fast and hot, the city is just a far and bright temptation. I only wonder what awaits me if I were to die in these woods tonight."

As David walked with her, he couldn't help but glance towards her again to see how she was doing. He watched with slightly widened eyes as she started to undo the strings of her outfit causing it to be looser on her. He had to blink several times and shake his head to rid the thought of everything. He couldn't possibly understand why women would wear something that would constrain their own breathing. He then felt Insidia grasp him once again so that he could rest somewhat. Though he didn't lower his arm from it's position.
David's own muscles were burning and aching as well. It felt like burning of hot ice. Touching something that was so cold that it literally burned you and left you in pain for several minutes. His body rather rigid as it was becoming harder and harder for him to move as they progressed and his body continued to use the last remaining ounces of available strength. Why couldn't anybody be coming by with a cart or something? Anything to give him a few moments rest and a way to Avaren that was quicker than walking.
"I wouldn't think that you would die in these woods." David spoke, "However, I would heavily suggest that once we reach Avaren that it seems that I was helping you and not the other way. Not just for my sake, but to yours as well. Your form suggests that you are not a warrior or someone that was raised in a warrior's home. They would suspect you for a mage and or some type of magic user." He replied with a forewarning just so that she wouldn't be taken by surprise and that she could be prepared for what was going to be ahead. The path was beginning to widen as it was common to do so since traffic was much busier as you approached the city.

Just as she began to breath far much more simply, she was told things would get more difficult. It was as if rest was just an impossible thing to obtain, this day couldn't get worse. It was always something that was well thought about; what is unattainable is most desired.
"While we become in sight, I will fix my appearance, then." she said, agreeing with simplicity and without argument
Inisida had only heard rumors about cities that shun magic. She felt it were a shame, something people should at the least understand. Ofcourse all this made her worry, a threat if she were to speak of her subtle talents.
"And what will they think if they see a wastrel by your side? Perhaps you tell them..I..disregard the beginning of what I had planned to just say. It would not be of appropriate saying."
That was far too revealing of her other life which was well kept from many. She ceased her words at the correct moment, sighing a breath of relief. Truly, the fatigue was wearing down all corners of her mind, like the rain as it pushed down on the tree branches.
"For how much longer do you think we will be walking?" Insidia questioned, though wanting to beg to be there sooner than whatever the answer would be.

David bowed his head slightly and closed his eyes. He had to think about this somewhat. How was he going to go about this? His head pounding with different thoughts but only to get a headache. There was no way to truly get around what was going to happen. He swallowed hard before rising his head back to it's original position still trying to figure out what was going to be needed to be done. The fact that they currently both looked to be in rather poor condition was clear at the moment. He'd only hope that there wouldn't be that much trouble at the gate and just allow them to get to his own abode without serious questioning.
"We'll do whatever is needed." David spoke, "Anything to avoid any type of suppcision and get by without being dragged into a fight. If you know any magic, simply deny it. If anything you are a traveler, a servant of mine, or something dear as a friend or lady friend. Whatever it is, come up with a story that would support us both for anything. I doubt that I'll be the one that's questioned because I'm known there." This part was true, however, he wasn't sure about the people that were caught being involved with those that knew magic. He only hoped that they wouldn't get caught and even if they did, the chances of him escaping where rather low in his current condition.

Insidia's nerves felt as if they tightened with her muscles, she wanted to let her eyes hold tears, perhaps cry, this had to be the most dangerous thing she had attempted yet. She had just resisted speaking what could be of good help, though it was far more vile than anything she had ever accomplished, her most regretted. Her thoughts reminisced to the time, recalling everything she had wanted to forget like a nightmare. She listened to David, nodding her head slowly, she would let this nightmare come back and live. Perhaps as humiliating as it was to be, it may save her life, and his good name. Though she wondered, she was sure he knew magic was in her blood.
"I am to fair skinned to be your slave, Sir. But, your paid female servant I am not. I appear just as ragged and poor. I know an act that could never be seen through, I have played it before in the past months...I was a whore so that I may pay off my father's assasin...unless that is too defying of your high placed name."
Bowing her head in shame, she said no more and let her eyes stare at the ground, as if she were worthy of nothing else. Those chilling memories were colder than ice and more fierce than an sea monsters tentacles. "If anything may ensure my life, this must be the only way."

David's eyes slightly widened looking at Insidia. Was she truly willing to put that kind of shame upon herself? He looked away from her at the moment thinking about what she was saying. She had played the part before and that was something that troubled him slightly. However, he wasn't exactly sure if that's anything that was worth it. Was it really worth staining one's name by. He turned to face the path that they were taking as they neared the large city gates. Eventually, they would reach the checkpoint of having to cross the threshold of the city and enter it's streets.
"Insidia, only play that part if worse comes to worse." David spoke to her in somewhat saddened tone, "I wouldn't want to bring up old wounds or even stain your name in this city. Only if there are no other options then do that. I wouldn't want others to have you branded as a harlet anywhere. It's not the greatest thing to speak of even if you are not what you have spoken. Now the time approaches and the gate draws near." He glanced at Insidia one last time giving a comforting smile. He slowly turned his head to face the gate that they would have to pass through in order to get to his humble abode.
OOC: If you want to make another thread at a different board you may, whether you want to go through the whole gate scene or not is up to you. Perhaps we can even get the queen to take part in it.

Stopping in her steps, while he spoke, she let her arms move away from him. Putting on even a better display, she loosened the upper part of her corset more, and flipping her hair over her shoulders. Insidia felt far more than embarrassed as what she made herself appear had been true at a time in her life, and she had remembered it vividly enough.
"My name?" she questioned, arranging the ties further "It is your reputation I seek not to harm, Sir, my own is not of matter."
She shook her head, then tearing a line in the sleeve of her dress. Insidia was sure it would of course come to that. She also wondered if he were speaking so kindly to her as a gentleman, and not with rue concern.
"What is the matter, though, is can you play your part?" she smiled in return with a playfully mocking tilt of her head
ooc: hmm after another post I think it'll fall in perfect, the scene will also help with her much needed personality and such showing through. If she joins, let me know.

David watched with his eyes fixed on Insidia as she walked away for a moment. He stood there leaning upon his spear and watched as she made this transformation. From what was once a fair looking woman, now became a common whore. He didn't really approve of what she was doing, because he believed that nothing could be worse. And the fact that he had never seen her around Avaren before probably spoke that she was unknown there. However, if she felt that was the best course of action to take, he couldn't stop her.
"I have a feeling that my reputation is already stained somehow." David spoke unclearly. He wasn't completely sure about the statement that he had just gave to Insidia. It was soemthing that was at the back of his mind, but out of reach. He wasn't sure of what was going to happen and how he would be greeted or anything else. He slowly walked up to where she was at and placed a hand upon her shoulder. A small smile was on his face and he then began to walk before her towards the gates that awaited their passing and the judgement that would be afterwards.
OOC: Okay, I'm not sure if she is going to reply to the thread or not, because she hasn't given me a reply. But if you want to start a new thread at the grand enterance that would be cool. Or if you want me too, I will. Sorry that it took me a while to reply, I was waiting to see if she would send me a message though she didn't.
