Alright, made a revised list then, see what you think:
Regular critters: Horse elephants wolves bears boars Big cat (think lion) Hunting Hawk/Raven
Mythical Creatures: Griffin pegasus drakes chimera leviathan Sphinx Hippogriff Hydra Manticore
Magical Creatures: Familiar phoenix Thestral Dragon Basilisk Unicorn
Thoughtless flunkies: elemental spirit Golem "Skellies"
And no, something as insignificant as a rat wouldn't have to be bought. ^_^

Ooh! Can I have a big, friendly dog!? Like Tadakichi-San! (Mr. Tadakichi) Do I have to pay for one of those?

Eh, right now I'd rather not get into what small critters people can or can't have, I'd just like to elaborate upon the list. ^_^

I think you should break dragons up into subcategories because usually in things there's like......tons of different kinds of dragons and stuff of all different colors with different powers.

sigh... yes i like ferrets, they are funny, cool, intelligent and useful. they should be allowed on the list. but for a note to the admin, Sparky should be banned from owning a ferret. lord knows what he'll do with it....lol Ferrets are the coolest... *has two* >> And as for testing players who can have wolves, provided a test is actually needed, I could be of service as well... I have lots of experience in wolf role-playing... actually I asked Cain about allowing Adiana to have a wolf since I have a whole idea for her history if I'm allowed... But then for Adiana it wouldn't involve purchasing a wolf, but hers would be relatively wild and found her... um... yeah >>

Alright, so I've decided to have pets as a purchasing option, yet now I just need prices and anything else people would like to have added to the list.

I wonder about nosaurians, that is Dinosauria that have survived extinction by magical o intelligent means and have been in hiding, continuing to evolve. I am a HUGE paleontological nut and would much appreciate such creatures. These are NOT dragons, or basalisks. Also, given my endless knowledge of real critters abound and of magical/mythical creatures as well, I would most humbly offer my services as a moderator for the creature/pet purchase and posts. Reasons, 1. I'm a decent Rper with constant frequency on site, 2. I interned in Zoos fro three years, and have taken Zoology and am studying Paleontology (the study of fossils and extinct life), 3. I need something else to do on this site while waiting for plot to take effect, 4. I am well read of fantasy and mythology and play Magic the Gathering, for knowledge of fictional beasts,
As for prices I purpose...
Regular critters: Horse- 300 to 550 depending on type. War horses will cost higher than cart horses elephants- 2000, Either African or Asian, high cost import wolves- 250 to 300, specify species, rarity will define price. probable test for handling bears- 250 to 500, Black bears and browns cost less than say polar or Kodiak. probable test for creature. (Pandas are NOT bears) boars/pig/swine- 50 for regular farm pig. 200 for peccary/warthog. 300 for wild boar and test Big cat (Lion 900, leopard 500, jaguar 300, tiger 1200, ocelot 200, cheetah 300, snow leopard 1000, cougar 750) test required Avian normals (common birds-100, raptor/small ie osprey, falcon, and hawks- 200. eagles- 300.
Mythical Creatures: all require a test Griffin -950 pegasus- 1200 drakes- 2000 chimera- 1500 leviathan- 1500 Sphinx-1200 Hippogriff-950 Hydra-2000 Manticore-1400
Magical Creatures: Again, all require a test Familiar- 1500 phoenix- 1300 Thestral- 1500 Dragon- 2500-4000 Price will be deterrmined by whether it's just a whelp or if you are getting a fully grown dragon. species and powers will also, (Ie healing, tough scales, breathing powers other than fire) Basilisk-2000 Unicorn-1700
Thoughtless flunkies: also need a test elemental- 2500 spirit- 1000 Golem- 2000 "Skellies" - 1500 for three
Anything else on added thus forth will be negotiated on price and whether a test is needed.
