What Awaits

[Ariadne]

As Ariadne just finished coming from the cementary she decided to go to the lake and just relax. As she is walking on the shoreline of the lake she is speechless at what beuty it beholds. The sun was setting down and you could see all the multi-colors in the sky. It was breathtaking as Ariadne sat on the shore she felt the water tickle her toes and she managed to relax. As the sun had already set there was nothing else that she can direct her attention to. She gets bored very easily also lonely. As Ariadne sat there she now wished she was back in her hometown with her family and friends who adores her. All of a sudden, she felt stupid for being such an idiot! No one in her family were mages..they were just regular peopl. "Why did I want to be so different?Right now I wished I lived my old ordinary life"Ariadne thought. I must have been quite the sight to anyone who would have walked and seen me. I was sitting by the edge of the lake shores , my knees had been drawn up with my arms hugging them close to my chest, my chin was wedge between my knees, my face must have looked so far away. Tears had started to fall down my cheeks." So what now?" Ariadne whispered to the moon.

[Alenya Everglade]

Alenya was walking along the lake, an outing she was hoping to make a nightly occurance, when she spotted a silently crying girl roughly ten paces away. Should I go to her? Can she be trusted? she wondered. Her abysmal family past had made her very halting around those she didn't know. On a whim, she took a step closer to the girl. She looks as depressed as I feel.
Her bare feet made almost no sound as Alenya came up level with the stranger. "Are you okay?" she asked tentatively, sitting down beside her.

[Ariadne]

As Ariadne was deep into thought she heard a girl talk the voice coming from beside her. The voice startled her making her jump and put a stop to her thoughts. I looked at the girl as I wiped my tears and replyed "Im fine"

[Alenya Everglade]

Alenya looked skeptical. "Are you sure?" she asked. "People don't start crying for no reason. I should know. I've cried a fair few times in my life."

[Shadow]

Shadow was walking towards the lake, ready for one of his daily swims. He noticed that there were two people sitting on the shore, but decided to take a dip first. When he reached the shore, he took off his cloak and shirt and jumped into the water.

After a bit, curiosity got the best of him and he swam over. as he got closer, he recognised one of the people, Aradne, who was crying. He shook his head and swam up to the shore where they were. "Hey, you ok?"

[Ariadne]

Ariadne looked at the girl.....and smiled weakly"No ...Im just feeling a bit homesick"Ariadne maneged to reply as she started chocking back tears

[Alenya Everglade]

"Don't tell me, you're from Avaren?" Alenya asked disbelieving. "God, I totally understand. My family got me kicked out of the city the second I started showing traces of magic. You see, they were all warrior and were expecting me to follow in their 'noble and righeous footsteps'. They hate me now. Even if I came across them in the street, they'd pretend not to know me. Except my brother. He'd probably kill me where I stood." She looked out at the water. "I wish I could go back," she said longingly, brushing a tear away herself.

[Ariadne]

"No..im not.Im from a land called Bellarion. Its quite far from here. I came here to pursue my dreams of becoming an Elementalist." Ariadne said as tears ran down her face. "The only one in my family. Its weird actually because my mother is neither a mage nor a warrior as for my father I dont know. And well I only had two "magical occurences" which were very powerful. I guess we can both say we missed some of the old ways" Ariadne said as she bit her lower lip.

[Shadow]

(if im intruding, tell me to leave.)
Shadow stepped out of the water and walked over to where the two were sitting. "Mind if i sit down?" he looked around. fro the snathes of conversation he had caught, they were talking about family differences and the such. Shadow knew what that was like, but he decided not to but into their conversation.

[Ariadne]

"Sure sit down"Ariadne told him ash she patted the grass with her hand "and no youre not intruding Shadow" Ariadne assured him. As she wiped the remains of her tears

[Shadow]

He sat down. "you ok?" He looked at her concernedly. Looking up, he jumped to his feet. "be right back." he ran over, grabbed his cloak and sat back down. "dont want this to go missing."He laughed. Looking at the other person, he nodded. "Hi there. Im Shadow."

[Ariadne]

"I am now" Ariadne said."Ooops! Im sorry I didnt introduce the both of ya. But I dont know her name." Ariadne said apolagetically.After that she laid back and rested her head on her crossed arms, while gazing at the stars"Wow theyre beutiful"Ariadne stated.

[Shadow]

he looked up. "I agree. theres no other place that gives a stargazer such a display in all the land." He sighed and layed back, using his cloak as a pillow. closing his eyes, he was so relaxed that he almost fell asleep. he shook his head. "Woa... almost fell asleep..."

[Alenya Everglade]

"I'm Alenya, by the way," Alenya introduced herself. "And its nice to meet you, Shadow."

[Ariadne]

Ariadne mumbled something .....what she mumbled wasnt understood though. She rolled over resting her head on her hands, while she drifted off to sleep.
