OOC: My mom wants me to get off after this post >_< I'll be on tomorrow at like 12pm k?
Evee smiled now, a sweet innocent smile. "...I'm glad, you're not alone. I have deep feelings for you too Aleph..." Evee said as she kept her eyes on his, she was very happy to hear that and at the same time upset because she was afraid to loose him. Evee put her arms around him, hugging him. She rested her head on his chest staying silent. It was something so unique about Aleph, he wasn't like the other guys in Avaren, he was different. Evee looked back up at him and just stared in his eyes, wanting to feel his lips against hers for the first time. "...You won't disappear and leav without a word will you?" Evee asked with sad eyes, it had happened before and it could happen again. The moonlight shined on them as Evee waited for his answer.

Aleph smiled and wrapped his arms around Evee. "I won't leave without saying goodbye, I promise," he said reassuringly. While he couldn't promise that he'd never leave or that he'd always return, he could promise to always say goodbye. He lifted his right arm from where it was resting on her back and began softly stroking her hair. Her body against his felt so good, and he longed to kiss her. However, he was still rather shy in regards to relationships, so he held back and decided he would wait a bit longer. Or he could wait for her to make the first move.

Evee closed her eyes as Aleph held her and stroked her hair. She was glad to know he would at least tell her he was leaving. She would worry about him more than anything seeing as he was a warrior. She was just glad that he felt the same way about her, but she wanted him to be with her. Evee wanted to make sure she wouldn't die without knowing true love, how it felt. She had no idea if Aleph and herself would fall in love, but right now it was close enough for her.
Evee slowly reached up and put her soft hand to Aleph's smooth cheek before she spoke. "I can't let such a good man pass me by, I'd be a fool to do that..." Evee said to him sweetly. Evee looked at his lips, then moved in to kiss him. She held her lips to his, wondering if he would take advatage of the moment.

Aleph felt the softness of Evee's lips against his. He wasn't exactly surprised that she'd gone ahead and kissed him, but he hadn't expected it to happen quite so soon. He enjoyed the sensation of their lips touching for a couple seconds before pulling back. "You may find I'm not as good a man as you think," Aleph warned quietly. She was still so close to him that he could feel her breath on his lips. He closed what little distance there was between them and initiated a second kiss. His hand had stopped stroking her hair and was just resting on the back of her head, while his other hand rested on her back, holding her against him.

Evee heard what he said, but she'd actually think about it later. Right now she was just enjoying the second kiss he had initiated. Evee wouldn't be able to believe otherwise about Aleph, he was so kind and gentle to her. After a few more moments, Evee broke the kiss and looked into his eyes deeply. "I'm not exactly sure what you meant by that but, I think you are good....At least, you are good to me..." Evee said looking down. She didn't know what he had meant by that remark but she hoped it didn't mean he was a letcherous unfaithful guy.

Aleph chuckled softly. "I simply meant that I sometimes have to be not good, as a mercenary," he told Evee. He really hadn't meant anything truly bad, it was just something to say. His hand resumed stroking her hair as he held her tightly against him. The memory of this night and hope for more like it would give him extra incentive to stay alive in battle. Not that staying alive was overly hard. Most towns that hired him only had a few small-time bandits attacking. And those were easily defeated. Aleph smiled down at Evee. In the moonlight, her eyes seemed to glow, like rubies that caught the light. Except that no ruby was ever that clear, that beautiful.

Evee looked back up at him, his fingers stroking her raven hair. "I understand now...." Evee said to Aleph. She wasn't very knowledgeable about a mercenary's life, but she was certain they faced gruesome times. Evee wanted this moment to last, but then she had an idea. Evee released herself from his embrace then took Aleph by the hands. "Come sit with me..." Evee said happily. She pulled Aleph over to the lake's edge and sat down, pulling him down with her. She layed her head against his arm and looked out at the lake. "Was it a coincidence we met that night?" Evee asked him with a calm peaceful tone. She hadn't had a night like this before, she hoped it would never end.

Aleph smiled as he allowed Evee to pull him over and down with her. While her head was resting on his arm, he suddenly lay down. On his back, he answered her question. "I believe in neither fate nor coincidence," he said. "Fate is for those afraid of making their own decisions and coincidence for those who those who can't accept the consequences of their decisions." Though he may have sounded harsh, he really wasn't. It was simply the way he felt about the matter. "I believe in multiple outcomes being influenced by our decisions and the decisions of others," he added. If those men hadn't gotten drunk, Evee wouldn't have been hurt. If he hadn't decided to stop for food, he wouldn't have found Evee. It was easy to see how those decisions had affected them.

"Hmm, I never expected that answer...Interesting...." Evee said intrigued with Aleph's intellect. She could tell he was a very smart man even before he answered that question. Evee simply liked to hear him talk. It was getting really late and Evee was tired, she still had alcohol in her system which didn't help at all. But she didn't want to say good night to Aleph just yet, so she layed down in the grass beside him like before.
Evee looked at Aleph for a moment before closing her eyes. Moments later she was sleep. Some of her raven hair lay across her face. One of her hands rested on the ground beside her hip and the other on her stomach, she was on her stomach. Those drinks put her to sleep, she didn't mean to fall asleep on Aleph. That wasn't her intention at all.

Aleph didn't notice when Evee fell asleep. He was too busy staring at the night sky, admiring the stars and constellations. Even though he slept outside and got to see this often, it never got old. "So beautiful, isn't it?" he said quietly. When Evee didn't answer, he looked over at her. Seeing that she was sleeping, he smiled. The alcohol must have gotten to her. That was okay by him, he didn't mind waiting around until she woke up. In fact, it was probably a very good idea for him to wait around until she woke. A lone sleeping woman dressed as she was would likely prove to be too much temptation for some people, drunk or not.

It was about 3 hours later Evee awakened, she opened her eyes to see Aleph still by her side. He was star gazing, something she did herself from time to time. "I'm sorry, I didn't meant to fall out like that..." Evee apologized sincerely. She was a little embarrassed at the fact too. It was just so comfy out here she fell asleep very qiuckly. Evee sat up so it wouldn't happen again.
"It must be very late, and I can't help wanting to stay...." Evee said to Aleph. She only stayed because he was here with her, and she hadn't had a night like this for some time. Evee stared out at the water, even more tempted to jump in. She kept looking at it until she just couldn't resist. She stood up, took her cloak off, then ran into the water. It splashed her legs as she ran through it.

"That's all right," Aleph said as she started to stand. He watched her doff her cloak and run into the water. He decided to stay out, though, since he still had his chain mail on. He did have some clothes on underneath, of course, but they weren't very heavy since it tended to get hot inside his armor. He didn't like the idea of leaving his chain mail just lying around, and he really didn't like the idea of swimming with a woman while he was clothed so little. While his sense of modesty didn't kick in often or strongly, it did make appearances at random times for random things. It was rather amusing, actually. He did stand up and move closer to the water, though.

Evee sat down in the water momentarily. She enjoyed the feel of the water around her. She looked over to see Aleph come closer, but he didn't get in. She assumed he didn't want to go through the trouble of removing his armor and chain mail. But Evee was enjoying the moment no less. Then she asked another random question, "Aleph, how do you see life now? From a mercenary's point of view?" She asked him then looked into the water while she let her hands go through it. She was curious about Aleph, she wanted to know his views.

"Do you mean life in general or my life?" Aleph asked. "I suppose I view life in general as something to be treasured, not as somethingto be taken or thrown away lightly. Perhaps that's a bit of an odd viewpoint for a mercenary, but I think it's actually more important for a mercenary to have than for others." He stood and admired Evee's beauty reflected in the water. "As for my life, I view it as a time granted to me to enjoy. And that's what I've been trying for for the past few years. I like to think I'm succeeding," he added. He smiled at the lady in the lake. She seemed to be having a very good time.

A smile played on Evee's features, he sounded content with life. "I'm glad you see it that way. Life is very precious..." Evee said to him as she looked back at him, his smile hypnotizing her all the while. She sat there in the water relaxing, she hadn't done this ina long time. Aleph was here with her making it even more worth while. She looked up at the tall brown haired blue eyed man, his armor shined in the moonlight right along with his eyes. Aleph was quite a looker, maybe even more. She thought about their kiss earlier, it was like magic.
