Evee nodded in understanding once more before she let him go and turned around, giving him a smile over her shoulder. She went back to where she and Aleph were laying down before and picked her cloak, putting it back on her petite frame. She took her hair out from under her cloak and the wet strands layed on her shoulders. She turned to face Aleph again even though he was still in the water he looked exceptionally yummy soaked and his abs visible. Evee had a smile that naturally brightened the room but tonight Aleph's smile won this time. Evee stood there waiting to watch him walk over to his armor. She had no problem having a nice ride home with him.

Aleph made his way back to his armor. He was completely soaked, so he was a little worried about accidentally rusting the chain mail. Of course, the only other option was to carry it. And since he was going to be escorting a young lady past a tavern, a young lady whose clothes were not the most covering, he thought it best he wear the armor. He put the chain mail on and buckled his sword belt over it. Next to go on were the gloves before he walked over to Evee. "Well, shall we go, milady?" he asked, offering his hand mock-courteously. The tavern wasn't too far, luckily. Soon they would be on Beht, heading for her house.

Evee walked over to him and took his hand willingly and happily. "Yes we shall..." Evee said looking up at him as she started the walk. It was a good night so far, she hoped the rest of it and the moring to come would be just as great. "Aleph, do you have any siblings?" Evee asked just trying to spark up any conversation. The walk wouldn't be long but she was sure that some friendly conversation would be appreciated. Evee held his hand firmly, but not too tight. It was a comfortable grasp, showing her affection.

Aleph walked alongside Evee, lost in thought. He snapped out of it when she spoke, though. "Siblings? Nope, I'm an only child," he replied. "My mom died before she could have another child. Though I don't think she and my father were planning on another one." He gave her hand a quick squeeze and continued walking. Let's see....the tavern is two streets up and three over, right? he thought to himself. He was getting more used to walking around Avaren, but he still occasionally got a bit lost. This time though, he was sre he was right.

"I'm the only child too..." Evee said to him surprised. They had that in common which was really cool. As they walked, Evee couldn't help but let her free hand wander up his arm, feeling every inch of muscle she could. She tried to do it as discreetly as possible, though soon enough he would realize what she was up to. Evee's clothes were damp and water droplets fell from the ends of her thin skirt. It wasn't really cold but it was kinda discomforting as it kept trickling down her legs. She couldn't wait to get home and get into some warm dry clothes. The night was welcoming to those who enjoyed it and she was certainly enjoying it. Evee was looking straight ahead and could see the Tavern's nearly dim lights coming up, but it was still kinda far off. Evee occassionally looked back up at Aleph, her ruby red orbs focused on his features.

Aleph smiled and tried to hold in a small laugh. Whatever evee was doing with his arm, it was amusing and slightly tickling. He wasn't extremely ticklish, but he was a little. And her hands were definitely tickling him. it wouldn't be long to the tavern now. Looked like he'd been right about how to get there. He looked down at Evee and smiled at her. "May I ask what you're doing?" he asked. It wasn't really bothering him, but it was tickling. And he was curious as to why she was doing it. Looking back up, he could make out Beht in his stall in the stables. The horse hadn't been tied up or anything, just commanded to stay.

As they approached the Tavern, Aleph finally caught on to what Evee was doing. When he asked her cheeks flushed with a radiant pink. She looked up at him shyly, her coy side coming out. "....I was just, admiring your atributes...." Evee trailed off not wanting to stay on the subject too long. She saw his horse standing there like the obedient horse it was and she smiled. "You have a good horse, what's it's name?" She wasn't sure if it was a boy or girl so she didn't want to offend it by saying her or she. Evee waited for Aleph's response and kept her hand in his as they walked, still holding onto his bicep with her other hand. She saw someone stumbling off the Tavern porch with a bottle of alcohol still in hand. They stopped near the horse ans smiled at it revealing hideous teeth. The person looked like a 30 yr. old and his hair was all over the place. He turned his gaze to Aleph and Evee then held his eyes on the wet Evee. "I say, Such a pretty creature as yourself shouldn't be going home with a boy. I'm a real (hiccup) man!" He said stumbling slightly as he tried to walk over to them.
Evee glared the man and let go of Aleph all together, one hand on her weapons. He was drunk but Evee had sobered up enough to defend herself. She approached the man only a few steps and he smiled a drunk smile. "Awe what's wrong tramp? Not in the mood?" He had totally pushed his limit right there. Evee Took one of her circular blades off her hip then smacked the drunkard to the ground with the side of the blade, quite hard. He fell to the ground unconcious. She stared down at him meanly then looked back over at Aleph. "Let's get out of here, I don't want to have to beat up another drunk...." She said before putting her weapon back to her side.

Aleph's free hand flew to one of his short swords when he saw the drunk approach Beht. Though the horse would do its best to avoid being stolen, it would be better for Aleph to teach the fool a lesson himself. When the drunk turned towards Evee and started hitting on her, he had his sword out before he realized it. When she let go of him, he had the other sword out just as quickly and was ready to attack should the man try anything. Evee beat him to the punch, though and he sheathed his swords as she turned to him. "I'm with you on that one," he said. He walked quickly to Beht and saddled him as quickly as he could. He then mounted his horse and held out he hand to help Evee up behind him. "By the way, this is Beht. He's a rather smart horse," he told her.

Evee simply smiled again, calming down. She took his hand when he offered it to her and mounted the horse as well, getting behind him this time. "Indeed he is a smart horse." Evee said looking over Aleph's shoulder at the horse. Evee positioned her arms around Aleph's waist and layed her head against his strong back. She closed her eyes savoring the feeling, ignoring the fact there was a drunk guy knocked out on the ground before them. Not to mention it was her doing. The moon still shined fiercely on the city of Avern and Evee looked forward to the ride home, she hoped it was long.

Aleph guided the horse out of the stable and started riding down the road. "Which way do we go?" he asked Evee. He'd been to her house once before, but he didn't know how to get there from the tavern. Of course, wandering about randomly could be fun as well. Especially with Evee holding on to him like she was. He looked over his shoulder at her and smiled. He was glad he'd met her that night long ago, and even more glad that he'd run into her tonight. He nudged Beht into a faster walk and kept a look out for anyone who might want to attack them for any reason.

Evee opened her eyes when she heard Aleph speak and she looked around at how far they had gotten. "Keep going straight, then at the third road turn right." Evee said giving him a few directions in advanced. Evee kept her eyes open now making sure she guided him thoroughly. They rode on for a while longer and Evee saw the third coming up soon, she held onto Aleph tighter, trying to keep herself warm seeing as she was getting cold from the air dry of her clothes. At least her cloak kept her fairly warm, she just liked being close to Aleph.

They soon reached the third road, and from the right turn there it was a very short time before they were out of the city. Once they were past the city walls, Aleph relaxed his guard and urged Beht into a fast trot. Normally he would've started galloping immediately, but in the dark such an act was foolish. Neither Aleph nor Beht could see any better than average in the dark. If Beht were to trip, he could easily break a leg. Or he could throw off his riders, causing them great injury. Since Aleph desired neither of those things, he kept Beht at a slower pace than he would take during the day and watched for anything the horse might trip on.

Evee looked around them as well, waiting for the next moment to tell Aleph directions. After a while, they were near the road to her cottage. "Oh, make a left here. My house is ahead...." Evee said in a calm voice. Their ride had partially dried Evee's clothes but not as much as she would've liked. Evee rested her head against Alpeh's back once more, her cheek pressing against his damp shirt. She kept her eyes open though making sure she was alert, in case someone tried to sneak up on them. The night was very calming and serene but that could change in the blink of an eye.

Aleph guided Beht around the corner. He could see the house not too far away. It was just as he remembered it. The horse slowed down as they neared the house, apparantly he recognized it as well. "Well, looks like we're just about..." He paused for a second until they were just in front of the cottage. "Here." He reigned in Beht and dismounted carefully. Then he held out his hand to assist Evee with her dismount.

Evee smiled down at Aleph and took his hand, dismounting Beht as well. She stood in front of Aleph for a moment looking up into his crystal blue eyes. "There's a spot to tie Beht up over there..." Evee told him, pointing at a wooden pole on the side of the cottage. "I'll see you inside shortly then?" Evee said to him before she went inside the house, leaving the door open for him to get inside. Evee went straight to her room and tossed her cloak onto her big loft bed. It didn't sit up very high but it still stood high enough from the floor. Evee undressed and put on a long white gown, her usual sleep atire. She looked over at her basin and still saw a dry cloth over it. She went and piked it up, then she started to dry her damp raven locks.
